This paper deals with how to assess and improve the maturity level of the customer by using test assessment
techniques, bring the client to the desired maturity level. This paper describes the process of achieving the same
through assessment and recommendations.
Goals of the assessment are:
• Assess the current QA Test Capability Maturity of the Client’s system
• Define the Client’s Global Testing Solution characteristics
• Review client’s current quality assurance (QA) capabilities
• Assess Client’s organizational readiness for implementing the global testing solution strategy that will support a
multi-shift approach and identify any gaps.
• Develop the strategy for addressing the gaps including specific initiatives and schedule in preparation for
deploying a global testing solution.
Shivaprasad.B.V is presently working as an Associate project manager for IBM has more than 8 years of experience
in Software Testing and Development. He has done his MS from BITS Pilani, He has done CSTM and CTAL
certifications. He holds the record for the highest number of brain bench certifications in IBM , a total of 70
certifications. He has won best paper award 4 times in IBM’s internal Testing share net programmes.
Radhika Halappa is currently working as a Test Lead with IBM. She has been with IBM over 3 Years. Prior to IBM she has worked with Micron and Sonata Software ltd. She holds an Engineering Degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University. She has over 8 years of experience in Development and Testing. She has worked on various technologies such as Automated, Functional and performance testing. She has been instrumental for the success in many projects.
She has participated in many of the testing conference within IBM and outside of IBM. She is a CSTM, Oracle 9i, brain bench software testing, Software Quality Assurance certified. She is currently working on project to set up a Test center of excellence for an account within IBM. |
