Bangalore Weekend Testers: Test, Learn and Contribute

 Ajay Balamurugadas, EFI India

"Bangalore Weekend Testers" is an initiative by four passionate software testers to improve their testing skills by practicing software testing. Testers meet online on weekends and question, argue, discuss, learn, unlearn, think, brainstorm, practice, enjoy software testing for free. Every weekend exposes the testers to a new product and its new challenges. Testers improve and apply the learning in their official work. We do provide mentor-mentee opportunities free of cost. This has been well received by the open source programmers too evident by the testimonials. Testers who have participated in BWT have actively blogged about it, spreading their thoughts across the word. This is a very effective way to improve testers' skills.

Ajay Balamurugadas is a passionate software tester, officially testing software for over three years. He is a student of Pradeep Soundararajan and actively practices "Exploratory Testing Approach" in his daily testing activities. He has been awarded scholarship from Software testing Club. Ajay is a student of Miagi-Do School of Software Testing run by Matt Heusser. Recently, he won third prize in a testing challenge conducted by Matt. Ajay is one of the initiators of "Weekend Testers" and shares his testing activities and learning through his blog "Enjoy Testing".
