| What is eGAP? |
QAI’s eGAP service is a systematic process of evaluating the existing process capability of an organization against world’s one of the most popular process improvement model i.e. SEI’s CMMI® (ver 1.2). eGAP provides an insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the organization’s processes. The service leverages QAI's experience and expertise built over a decade and a half of international consulting.

Steps of eGAP Execution |

Webinar based kick off meeting between the client representatives and QAI consultant to initiate the engagement. This is the forum to set ground rules and plan the engagement. |
|
OCMMI (Overview to CMMI) training is an optional step, would be beneficial for organizations where the workforce is not acquainted with the CMMI model. |
|
Webinar based awareness session to familiarize the participants with online gap analysis activities, educate them on how to use the tool and fill the questionnaire. |
|
The client team fills the questionnaire using the online tool and provides the relevant evidences (documents) to support the response to the questions, by sending the same to QAI. |
|
QAI consultant reviews the response to the questionnaire and the supporting documents. During this phase interviews are also conducted using audio cons/ video cons to seek further clarifications and additional evidence (if required). |

QAI consultant prepares a detailed Gap Analysis Report containing the strengths and areas for improvement for the organization, the report is presented to all the relevant stakeholders in webinar. |

Client has the option of utilizing QAI’s expertise to perform action planning for their process improvement journey. |
