  Vinod Kanjan

Deputy General Manager - Projects
  Larsen & Toubro Limited

Project Management has become increasingly important in these times of globalization, where time lines have shrunk for similar scope. Project Management is emerging as a crucial competitive edge for enterprises to build a preferred status with customers. In this paper a case study has been presented on L & T’s recently commissioned mega offshore project of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) - Booster Compressor Platform Project (BCP-B2). Risk Management has been identified as one of the key enablers for successful completion of projects. Case studies, indicating the innovative project management techniques, have been provided in the detailed presentation/paper.

Vinod Kanjan, a Mechanical Engineer, comes with over 24 years of industries experience. A “PMP” by IPMA, Switzerland, he has also received “Certificate of Proficiency” in Project Management from S.J.
