In today's competitive scenario every industry needs to perform at its optimal best. It is imperative for all the organizations to deliver better, faster and cheaper. This requires sound processes, competent people and world-class technology, few commonly used frameworks for improving the IT services are ITIL®, ISO20K and the relatively new SEI's CMMI® for Services (CMMI®-SVC) model.
ITIL® provides the organizations with collection of industry best practices to create well defined processes for IT Service Management and CMMI®-SVC provides a guide for selecting processes that best fit an organization's needs and helps the organizations to prioritize their process improvement initiative. CMMI®-SVC provides a guide for selecting processes that best fit an organization's needs, while ITIL® uses best practices to create well defined processes for ITSM. CMMI®-SVC directly complements ITIL® and ISO20K initiatives by providing an umbrella of guidance and direction to help focus and gain value from ITIL® implementation and to make sure that the organization maintains and builds on ISO20K certification.
CMMI®-SVC is based on time tested maturity model for process improvement, can be extremely value adding to the organizations that want to improve their operations in a structured and well-defined manner. CMMI®-SVC provides guidance on developing, deploying and improving mature service practices which help in improving performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
This session helps you to understand the CMMI®-SVC model and how you can leverage the same to derive business improvements in your IT Service Delivery organization/ operations.
