Organizational change is hard, and this is the case with the process and technology pieces of ITIL implementations, which varies on the size, structure, and culture. Overcoming organizational resistance is one of the barriers to successful ITIL implementations, as with all change, fear, uncertainty and doubt can be factors among employees. Here, communication is the best defense. There are some common threads that will enable us to get the necessary buy-in to succeed with organizational change. The presentation will highlight the rationale for a successful ITIL implementation and strategies for overcoming organizational change.

He is a Certified PMP from Project Management Institute, USA and holds Masters & Foundation certifications in ITIL from ISEB, UK and EXIN, Netherlands. He holds a MBA, Information Management from SP Jain Institute of Management Research, Mumbai and a Doctorate of Communication Design (Systems) from School of Information Arts and Technologies, University of Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

Bhishmaraj is a Certified PRINCE2 Foundation Professional from APM Group, United Kingdom and also holds ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate from EXIN, Netherlands. He has led several process design and implementation engagements covering ITIL processes and specializing in the areas of incident, change, configuration and release management which also encapsulated ITSM Tools implementation. Bhishmaraj is a MBA, IT & Finance from IIIT, Pune and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Mumbai University. |
