Moving from managing through metrics to managing using high maturity requires a paradigm shift. In a scenario where the project managers are already trying to balance stringent deadlines, tough clients and demanding teams, it is a challenge for the organization to get a buy-in from the project managers to make this shift effectively.

This presentation will outline practical mechanisms to address essential elements that are required for sustenance of measurement program with specific focus on high maturity concepts. We will discuss 5 key principles of sustenance for high maturity.
Establishing measurement program in close alignment with organizational key business goals
Building and implementing checks to gauge and address data quality
Establishing clear steps to build and rebuild performance models that address business requirements
Evaluating and refining measurement program constantly and continuously
Exploiting the benefits and communicating business value widely to all stakeholder
   
  In addition to the above outlined steps this presentation will also discuss how to manage and measure performance of high maturity program. This involves close monitoring of High Maturity program plan, regular status reporting including quantitative metrics along with a high maturity program scorecard. Above all, Managing change program like a project is critical for successful implementation and sustenance.

Meet Andrew Cook
Andrew Cook is a Senior Executive at Accenture. He is currently the Delivery Performance lead for the Asia Pacific Region (Offshore) Delivery Centre Network for Technology. In this role he has responsibility for Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives for the over 40,000 staff providing services from Accenture’s Delivery Centres in India, Philippines and China.  He has over 16 years of experience in the IT industry and has worked with private and public organisations across Europe gaining broad experience across the Software Development Lifecycle on multiple IT-led transformation engagements.  He specialises in Solution Shaping, IT Strategy and Program and Project Management.
