In a complex and large project with multiple features, management requires different and multiple reports for monitoring, control, initiation of proactive/corrective actions and resource utilization. Lot of effort is required from Quality Analyst and project management to prepare these kinds of reports. To reduce the repetitive effort automated dashboards (graphical/tabular) are prepared using macro skills This automation helps in reducing the effort significantly, to be more specific overall effort saving is approx 80-90%. Some of the benefits/ value creation are:
Summarized representation for management overview
Identification and fine tuning the team competence, possible team augmentation in areas where more changes are expected.
Quick tracking, identification and correction of any possible inefficiencies in terms of CR response time, implementation schedule adherence.
Latest statistics and status handy for various project management meeting in no time
Enhanced predictability based on certain parameters.
Early detection of problems
