This paper will focus on the use of various in-house developed methodologies and the combination in which they are used, in order to get an out come which is equally good (some times even better!) in comparison to the out come of the expensive tools.Following in-house developed tools (and their combination with each other) will be the part of this paper:

1.Rayleigh Equation based Defect Prediction Tool
2.Monte Carlo Simulation & EWMA Control Chart based testing end date prediction tool
3.NHPP & Gompertz Equation based reliability and defect forecasting tool
The paper will also demonstrate the usage of above tools in the following combination in order to serve as a Process Performance Model:
Combination 1: Test End date Prediction Tool + Rayleigh
Combination 2: Test End date Prediction Tool + NHPP-Gompertz Tool
