From Maturity Level 1 – 3, organization is more reactive to the past as compare to the future. Although they (organizations) know when corrective actions must be taken, organization may not be able to predict the effectiveness of these corrective actions, or know if there are better alternative using process composition.

High Maturity System at SIEMENS provides understanding on past process behavior to predict and control the future quality and performance of our products and services. This is done by establishing quality and process performance objectives based on our business objectives and the needs of our customers and end users. Performance against these objectives is planned, monitored and controlled with the help of statistical and quantitative methods which are built up with in projects activities.  The resulting information is used to understand process performance, target areas for improvement and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.

With the help of this paper, we would share step by step completion of our high maturity journey in SIEMENS.

Rajesh TV comes with 16+ years of experience in the industry and has been involved in driving and implementing organization wide Quality and Process Improvement initiatives in SDE India. He also heads the SEPG and leading CMMI® ML4 Initiative in SDE India.

He has also posses rich experience in handling various projects  and products in SIEMENS and also provided the process consultancy for various Organizations in India and abroad .

He has conducted several in-house and public trainings on CMM, CMMI®, Internal audits and various software engineering topics like Software Metrics, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Peer reviews and so on.

Amit Chauhan comes with over 11 years of  professional work experience in process improvement for the information technology domain.

An experienced ATM for CMMI® ML4 with strong communication skills he has the unique skill of quickly grasping situations and implementing solutions.In SIEMENS, he is head of Metric Council Group, active member of SEPG group and FAR member for High maturity process for CMMI ML4 Assessment. 

As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified from Motorola, He has been conducting several in-house and out-house training programs on various Quantitative Process Management, Statistical Process Control, Process Performance Models, High Maturity Practices of CMMi 1.2 Dev and Usage of Crystal Ball for process performance mode.
