The Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) has evolved from the learning, feedback and hm_img (1)experience of software organizations across the world that deployed various models (ISO, CMM®, etc.) for improving their processes. CMMI® builds on and extends the best practices of the Capability Maturity Model for Software (SW-CMM®), the Systems Engineering Capability Model (SECM), and the Integrated Product Development Capability Maturity Model (IPD-CMM®). There are different levels of a maturity model such as CMMI-DEV ML2, CMMI-DEV ML3, CMMI-DEV ML4 and CMMI-DEV ML5 etc.

Apart from integrating the software and systems engineering areas, the model links it to the organization’s business objectives and also maintains a focus on meeting customer expectations. QAI provides CMMI® Consulting, Training and Appraisal services to assist organizations in their quality journey.

Consulting

QAI offers consulting intervention to help organizations in successfully undertaking their CMMI®journey. QAI has 11 Lead Appraisers, authorized by the Software Engineering Institute (SEISM) to conduct CMMI® appraisals. This is one of the largest group of Lead Appraisers in a single organization, outside the USA. The Lead Appraisers are supported by a vast pool of experienced consultants, who have worked in the software /systems engineering domain and have also consulted various organizations in their process improvement initiatives. QAI is authorized by SEISM to conduct Official Introduction to CMMI® Training, which is mandatory for an organization to undergo the final appraisal – Standard CMMI® Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPISM).
