QAI is the only SPI organization in the world to have partnerships with government organizations and industry associations throughout Asia, where it brings its knowledge and experience to bear on national-level programs for software process improvement and to start the Process Improvement journeys of their software industries.

For example, In South-East Asia especially, governments have recognized the unique role QAI has to play in developing the process excellence of their software industries. For example, we have close links with the Infocomm Development Authority (iDA) of Singapore, Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), Mekong Project Development Facility (MPDF) Vietnam, USAID, World Bank etc

.QAI is also the Exclusive consulting and training firm in the area of Six Sigma for the Government of Singapore and has worked with more than 30 ministries enabling process excellence in the civil services.

QAI is perhaps the only professional organization to have worked with several government organizations/ agencies for similar large-scale funded consortium initiatives, thus supporting the development of the local industry competitiveness in these countries.

Some of Our Clients

A partial listing of QAI clients in this sector and a brief description of services provided is mentioned below:

Jinan (China) Government

QAI provided CMM Level 2 / 3 implementation to ten (10) companies of Jinan, China supported by the local government.

QAI provided services as:

	Gap Analysis for CMM level 2 and 3 for the 10 companies
	Consulting for implementing CMM level 2 and 3 Key Process Areas
	Training on Key Process Areas for effective CMM Implementation
	Pre assessment and CBA IPI of the 10 companies at Levels 2 and 3.

The entire work was carried out by QAI itself, without any subcontracting to any other vendor.

Wuhan (China) Government

QAI provided CMM Level 3 implementation to three (3) companies of Wuhan, China supported by the local government.

QAI provided services as:

	Gap Analysis for CMM level 3 for the 3 companies
	Consulting for implementing CMM level 3 Key Process Areas
	Training on Key Process Areas for effective CMM Implementation.
	Pre assessment and CBA IPI of the companies

The entire work was carried out by QAI itself, without any subcontracting to any other vendor.

Shenzhen (China) Government

QAI has provided CMM level 2 & 3 Key process Area trainings for 110 companies of Shenzhen. QAI has an exclusive partnership for CMMI® Implementation with Shenzhen CMM certification center.

This partnership also included the promotion of models like CMM, CMMI®, PCMM, Six Sigma, ITIL®, COPC with Shenzhen government for companies of Shenzhen province.

The Government of Egypt

QAI India Ltd. has been selected by The Government of Egypt, amongst global competitors, for providing end-to-end Training, Consulting & Formal CMMI® Appraisal services to a group of 20 Egyptian companies.

The project is being funded by the Industrial Modernization Center [IMC] - an Egyptian   Development organization co-funded by the European Union and the Government of Egypt - and the beneficiaries of the program are 20 eligible IT SME's offering a wide range of products and services including offshore development, training, multimedia integration services etc. The Technical Partner of the project is Software Engineering Competence Center [SECC], Cairo.

The project was kicked off in June 2005 and the objective of this assignment was to provide CMMI® Level 2 & Level 3 related services to these 20 Egyptian Software development companies, of which around 5-6 were to be selected for either CMMI® Level 2 or Level 3 Formal Appraisal.

QAI has been providing end to end services - from Trainings & Consulting to Spot Checks, Pre Appraisals & Formal Appraisals.
 
The engagement has been going on for almost 11 months now and QAI consultants have been consistently receiving excellent reviews from all participating beneficiary companies. The Formal Appraisals for the beneficiary companies of the project is currently underway.Additionally, SECC has now roped in QAI to provide additional Consulting support & to carry out the CMMI® Appraisal for the balance 15 companies as well!

The Government of Singapore

QAI India has won a global tender to provide Six Sigma consulting and training to more than agencies of The Government of Singapore.
This tender has enabled the participating agencies (ministries) to get funded from the MOF, to a certain percentage on the training and consulting costs of the Six Sigma implementation.

QAI since then has been involved in aggressive marketing and till today is working with more than '30 ministries'.

QAI was also an implementation partner to conduct CMMI®® Gap Analysis for 10 organizations, a project which was funded by Infocomm Development Authority (iDA) of Singapore.
